The Kansas City 4-H Global Conference, the premier work force preparation and career exploration conference is for teens, 15 and older. Delegates are from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Preparing for the global work place allows delegates the opportunity to choose workshops and/or business tours in which they are interested.
The focus of each workshop and tour is on workforce issues of technology, globalization, and environment.
Examples of topics and careers: International Law & Diplomacy, Medical, Engineering, Publishing, Fashion, Theatre, Marketing, CSI, Aviation, Manufacturing, Veterinarian Medicine, Legal & Judicial, and Zoological.
In addition to workshops and tours, delegates will also enjoy a night of science challenges, two dances, opening banquet and two full breakfasts, 3 nights lodging at KCI Hilton Hotel, a conference t shirt, a dance, opening banquet, and an Ethnic Enrichment Evening. This event, complete with food, music, dance and crafts allows delegates to interact with dozens of cultures, from Brazil to Ukraine and Malaysia to Germany.
